External Scholarships

American Association of University Women, AAUW, promotes equity for all women and girls, lifelong education, and positive societal change. The Ontario-Upland-Rancho Cucamonga Branch, awards the Beverly Brennan Memorial Scholarship of $1000 to successful applicants who meet all of the followingrequirements:

A female student graduating from Chaffey College
A 3.0 GPA
Eligible for junior status at the receiving institution, Fall 2019
Seeking a degree at an accredited four-year college or university
Transferring to that institution, Fall 2019 as a full time student
Financial need

The Randall Blair Isenberg Alcohol Addiction Awareness Scholarship of $500 scholarship is available to students who meet the following criteria: Currently enrolled in or formally accept to any accredited U.S. community college, undergraduate or graduate degree program. This includes incoming students who currently hold a high school diploma or GED. Scholarship candidates must possess a history of raising alcohol addiction awareness, as demonstrated by volunteer, educational, or professional experiences. Scholarship candidates must be in good academic standing with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.

The Aromatech Scholarship of $500.00 is being offered to students, in order to be eligible to receive the scholarship, students must display a current GPA of 3.0 or above and must possess a high school diploma or GED. Students of all years, from rising Freshmen to those seeking Master's degrees, should feel encouraged to apply. Students who wish to apply for for this scholarship should compose a 1,000+ word essay detailing the uses and importance of aromatherapy and modern scenting technologies. Be creative in your discussion of the topic, and feel free to include personal anecdotes and insights. This essay should be carefully crafted and free of any grammatical or spelling errors.

The Judith M. Goldberg Scholarship of $500.00 In order to be eligible for the scholarship, students must be enrolled in a pre-law program at an accredited college or university within the United States. Applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA. Students seeking a law degree should compile an essay ranging from 1,000 to 1,500 words explaining why they want to become a lawyer. Details about personal experiences with the legal system or those of friends and family members are welcome. Feel free to include specifics on how you feel the system may have succeeded or fallen short in such instances.
